Community Engagement
Career Fairs
We often receive invitations to participate in school career fairs where we provide interactive displays and send trained personnel to converse with students. We encourage students to ask questions about career preparation (education or experience) and job responsibilities, and provide first-hand knowledge of a potential career within the Emergency Medical Services. We find this is a great way to get involved, impact and invest in the future of Bermuda – our students.

Nursery and Primary School Visits
On request, we also send our volunteers and ambulances to schools around the island to teach students about the role of St John Ambulance within the community and what they can do if they are faced with an emergency requiring first aid. We also showcase the ambulance (with lights and sirens!) to give the students an up close view of an emergency vehicle.

Birthday Parties
We also do drive-bys and pop ups at birthday parties and would love to be present to help make your little one’s day just a bit more special.
